I build games, engines and graphics tools — renderers in C++ and OpenGL, gameplay in Unity and Godot. Everything below runs in your browser. Pick one and play it.

02About Me

I'm a Computer Engineering student at the University of Waterloo who spends most of his free time on the parts of software you can actually see move — renderers, engines, and the systems underneath games.

That interest started with games and worked downward. I wanted to know why things appeared on screen, which turned into writing shaders, then a rendering pipeline, then a whole engine. These days I'm building Neef Engine, a 3D engine in C++ and OpenGL aimed at high school students, with a drag-and-drop block language so someone can build something real before they've written a line of syntax.

I like problems where the feedback loop is visual and immediate. A quantum circuit visualizer, a checkpoint simulator that degrades your perception as you get tired, an emulation tool that lets a customer lay out their own warehouse — they're all the same instinct: take something abstract and make it something you can look at and poke.

Outside of that I do game jams, which are the fastest way I know to finish something instead of endlessly polishing it. Most of what's in the arcade above started as one.

Software Developer

Jan 2026 – Aug 2026

Toyota Automated Logistics · formerly Bastian Solutions · Kentucky, USA (Remote)

  • Pitched and led development of a new self-service tool letting customers design and emulate their own sites on our proprietary systems, removing the need for extensive backend developer support.
  • Learned Godot independently to build the visualization layer of the emulation tool.
  • Built general-purpose visualization tools inside the emulation editor to support customer workflows.
  • Applied core game development principles — rendering, scene management, real-time interaction — to the 3D emulation visualization system.

Senior Quantum Software Developer

May 2025 – Aug 2025

SoftwareQ Inc. · Waterloo, ON

  • Principal developer of a high-performance quantum circuit visualizer, architecting its core systems and rendering pipeline from the ground up in modern C++ and OpenGL for real-time, interactive circuit editing.
  • Implemented multithreaded processing and used smart pointers to manage complex data structures safely in a highly concurrent environment, improving performance and stability.
  • Integrated advanced quantum algorithms and research findings by working closely with PhD researchers, translating theoretical concepts into production-ready software.
“Your work is the foundation of one of the most widely used alternatives to IBM's visualizer. Your application will be used by hundreds of people daily as they learn the fundamentals of quantum computing.” — Anton Borissov

Founder & Lead Programmer

Jan 2025 – Present

Neef Engine · learning-tool game engine for students · Waterloo, ON

  • Building a 3D game engine in C++ and OpenGL, implementing shaders and lighting models for real-time rendering.
  • Leading a team of students, holding code quality and documentation standards through regular reviews and collaborative development.
  • Creating a block scripting language so high school students can learn programming through a visual drag-and-drop interface, plus Lua integration for more hands-on development.
  • Optimizing the engine for performance using multi-threading and careful memory management.

Academic Representative
